Welcome to Vulpera
1. Hello!
You’re very welcome to stay over in Vulpera from March ‘24 till I move to St. Moritz, which is available for friends, family, and close collaborators who got personally my invitation.
Vulpera is a tiny village next to Scuol, in the beautiful area of National Park (lower/unter) Engadin(e), which is all in the Kanton/’province’ Graubünden in Switzerland. 🇨🇭
This area, was previously a spa town/health resort, because of the unique forest of Arven trees/Swiss Pine and the many different natural water sources.

You can always reach out via:
WhatsApp, it’s the easiest or marijnvo@gmail.com
Vibes:
Bring hiking shoes with socks, books/magazines, and card/board games (I brought Rummicub, Ligretto, and Spicy).
Hiking, cooking, making art, and watching movies it is!
Feel also free to bring your laptop when you can work on distance, just be sure you’re taking time for just being you.
Balance versus Abundance:
After reading & agreeing to what you read on this page, you can let me know when you like to come over.
Just tune in with yourself in which way you like to contribute. I offer this as a concept to also being able to stay over as a guest in other places around the world.
+ Pay it forward in your own way.
+ And/or if you prefer to pay your share (the Dutch way) by donation; it’s €700 per month, so €23 per day, which you optionally can calculate as contribution.

Apartment:
In Vulpera there is an apartment from a previous hotel, where I have space for 2 guests (it’s one room with 2 beds + bed bank, bathroom, kitchen, and balcony) and during the day I am in the artist's studio, which is within walking distance across the street.
It’s also possible to rent an apartment next to me, I need to confirm the availability.
Before Corona, I had always so many guests over from all over the world and family + friends out came over from other cities in the Netherlands.
So I thought, let’s keep this flow alive of sharing precious quality time together, in the combination of both following our own plan.
To make life a bit easier for everyone, I’ve set up this page, so it’s easy to blend.
House rules for both of us:
- Leave everything behind where you found it.
- Who breaks something, fixes/pay for it.
- Please don’t touch the art (!).
- When you want to use art materials or the car, please ask first permission.
- Because the space is small, there are no extra guests allowed, except for dinner.
Dinner guests are welcome, on request so we both know.
- Please talk peacefully after 22.00 since the walls/balcony/hallway are noisy.
- No loud music, because the neighbors are mutually respecting our peace too.
- When you feel tension, please share within 24 hours.
- If you want to bring or share food, please know I’m vegan.
- Kitchen + bathroom + shared spaces are always directly cleaned up, e.g. nothing is left in the sink.
- When staying longer than 3 days, please let’s clean together.
- When you stay longer than 3 days, you become a chef to take care of bringing out the trash, glass, and paper, because it’s not an AirB&B :-)
- No smoking allowed in the house, never. You can use the balcony at all times.
- Shoes are taken off at the entrance/hall.
When not respecting the rules, you’ll be friendly and asked to leave.
Always before leaving the house:
+ Turn off the heather.
+ Turn off the lights.
+ Close all windows and lock both doors.
In the drawer below the coffee machine, you find:
+ Your set of guest-keys

Available:

+ All basic necessities are available, only no hair dryer.
+ You can use the left half of the fridge.
+ Feel free to use any foods/drinks, just when you really use something fully, replace it within a day or so, to keep the balance alive.
